Hundreds of clinical studies on the benefits of acupuncture show that it successfully treats conditions ranging from musculoskeletal problems (back pain, neck pain, and others) to post-stroke rehab, nausea, migraine headache, anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, and fertility.

As a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Anita utilizes Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, manual therapies in her clinical practice. She specializes in the treatment of pain, especially knee, back, shoulder and neck pain, as well as sports injuries. Her pain relief techniques were developed based on ancient methods paired with current anatomical knowledge. Your treatment is assessed individually and continually monitored to assure the best treatment protocol is being followed.

Treatment Methods:
  • Acupuncture: Thin needles (less than the thickness of a hair) are placed in certain spots on the body called acupuncture points.  This stimulates the body’s own healing response.
  • Electro-Acupuncture: The same process as regular acupuncture but with the addition of a micro-current to help alleviate pain.
  • Cupping Therapy: The attachment of rounded inverted glass cups to certain parts of the body using a vacuum effect. The glass cups are moved along the surface of the skin, increasing blood flow and relieving muscular tension.
  • Tui na: A type of body work that combines massage and acupressure to relieve muscular pain and discomfort.
  • Herbal Therapy: Herbs are used to address unhealthy body patterns and can be invaluable for those seeking a prescription-free alternative.
Therapy cost:
  • One-Time Diagnostic Assessment with treatment: $130 (1.5-hour session)
  • Follow-up Treatments: $85.00 (1-hour session)
  • All treatments can include any of the treatment modalities offered at no additional cost.
